Today we were treated with a bit of dissapointing weather. I took my daughter on her bike with me to fetch my car, as yesterday we had our 'city-pier-city' marathon, and there was no possibility of driving arround at a certain point, so I had to leave my car at my shop . Beats me why they don't organise such an event on a sunday? Nevertheless it was a nice day to go and visit Amsterdam. I wanted to see a shop in the centre, that whenever I'm in Amsterdam is always closed -because I allways pick the wrong day and times-. A bit of of a struggle for my kids to have to go to our capital just because I want to see 'stuff'. Anyway the boys had a judo tournament so we had to be back in time, it would just be a short visit. Happily the place was surrounded by cafe's so I told my family to have lunch while I checked out 'the scene' next door... this finally resulted in me buying a pair of shoes for myself and for my daughter, who is absolutely the last one in need to be shod. And of course I was in heavy need of a handbag, and also found a nice pink one to add to my pile. Better not tell my husband. We had to rush back to The Hague for the boys who won a bronze and silver medal.

Ok, ok, so I've been asleep for a little while... Doesn't mean I don't think about my blog. Anyway past week has been a sneak preview of spring, and judgeing by the weatherman's face we have to go back hybernating (which is just the thing I've been doing these past days...) and expect the worst to come. Good thing a whole party of raven black Hunter wellies just arrived at Tsuki's -only for kids though- . But it will get us through the March showers! For the mom's we also have Hunter wellies but a much more classy model, so much for Kate Moss.

Today, March 2nd used to be my mothers mother birthday, she would have become 95. Grand old lady. Anyway talking about birthday's Tienes is having his in HAM in stead of AMS. Talking about grand old ladies, Frieda took a nasty fall and had to be taken to E.R. where she was told she has a complicated elbow fracture, but as the aquired metal plates needed in surgery were not in hospital stock, she will have to wait till Monday or even Tuesday for the needed operation. And thus they left her a-waiting in pain... So much for the 2nd of March 2007.
